While in Malta she worked as a nurse for the mentally disabled. She loved her work and was heartbroken to leave her patients behind. Upon arrival in America. Georgia worked for Schlage Lock and proudly retired from there after 31 years of service.
The great pride of her life was her family. Georgia was predeceased by her "Bomb" and her youngest son. Michael. She is survived by her son. Tony, with whom she lived until her death, his love. Kathy, her grandchildren, Lisa and Michelle ana their mother, Rose Bezzina. as well as many beloved nieces and nephews here and in Malta.
Georgia wais greatly loved by many people and had several nicknames. She was "My little Honey Bunny" to Tony. Her dearly 'loved nieces "Tony's Angels," Sue Newton, Mary' Lee Cairns and Annette Vassallo called her "Borza." Her great nieces. Shannon Parenti and her great nieces, Shannon Parent'« and Christina Bertoiozzi called her "Brown Boots." They ah have many stories of laughing and late nights with Georgia as she enjoyed her very favorite thing in the world, playing the nickel slots in Lake Tahoie. Many have memories of her amazing meals, delicious cookies and great tmes at Camp Innis.She was surrounded by those who loved her ait the time of her death and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
